What is the current space at elevators on the prairies????

That would make a good weekly report alongside the saskag crop report...

"Working Capacity" is 5,080,000 tonnes, so there is about 3 MMT of space to get up to working capacity

They won't take tough grain and they shipped their dry stuff....and they won't use their dryers.....go figure another downloading of costs to farmers...

There has to be a compromise in situations like this....relax the standards bit....fire up available dryers....maybe without gouging people...

We all have to make some money out of this year.....hurt the host and the leeches will suffer as well...

That carryover isn't coming in until the price is where it belongs....

Reading today that the spring wheat is in trouble in the states as well...who would have thunk it considering the last storm was centered over the Dakotas/...

I would say it may be time to buy a hammer to hit your hands before making the call to the elevator....

It’s amazing how some years you can’t get a contract too move that is 2 months overdue. This year anytime I phone to move canola for forward months it’s gone. Tells we there is a shortage or it’s hand to mouth.
