    Fun fact of the day ...

    Corn 🌽 seeded too shallow causes anchor roots to be set too high ...
    Just a function of being very dry and hard at seeding and uneven seed depth.

      Haven’t seen that on any of ours as it was mostly dry and fluffy seedbeds at seeding. It’s turned purple and yellow in the low spots and even in standing water it hasn’t died yet. Might only be a foot tall with 12 leaves and tougher than I thought it’d be.
