Bothwell cheese was pleased to learn that they will be receiving a 1.1M grant from the federal government, as announced yesterday by MB Minister of Agriculture Ralph Eichler at Fromagerie Bothwell in Wpg. The funding will support product innovation and production efficiencies.
We love our bothwell cheese as it is the only cheese we can find that is made with real milk and not fake modified milk ingredients imported from China. But, damn what the hell, profitable large company gets a million bucks while I see all the small startup artisanal cheese makers dying to make $100 in sales as they try to grow and make a business. They can’t compete when battling against their Govt funded industry giants.
Why is it all the fat pigs that get fed at the trough.
