However, no politician in the country will keep their job long unless they "address" climate change. Bahaha.
So what to do in just four years and keep your job. How to keep free everything?

The NDP were a bit of an accident in the 2015 election. What most people don't realize is that we have pretty much had 3 consecutive governments that were left leaning. Stelmach, Redford and Notley.

Don't like the attack type campaign that the NDP are running. There are skeletons in everyone's closet.

I also really detest the use of children as props.

I am voting for a party that have some respect for my hard earned dollars and that is definitely not Rachel Notley she throws money away worse than a drunken sailor.

Kenney will probably win despite the dirty tricks in his leadership campaign. Incumbent politicians often take the blame for economic downturns regardless of what caused it. Oil and natural gas prices are largely set by world supply and demand and beyond the control of Alberta. Notley has fought hard to get pipelines built so you can't fault her for that.

The oil sands are some of the most expensive oil in the world to produce and are at big risk with oversupply and low oil prices. Lack of alternative markets to the USA have hit hard as well, but the long term economic fundamentals of the oil sands are in question.

But to see Notley do this well in the polls in Alberta is remarkable and an indication of how much Alberta has changed as the cities become more progressive.

When Righties don't get their Con parties elected, they love to chat it up about separation every time, much like a spoiled child that doesn't get their way!

            Sk3

You should shorten your posts regarding which political party is more guilty of running up deficits while in power, they all do it. Just Google it and compare, rather than ranting on here! Besides you worked for the Sk NDP when they were in power, so you were nursing on the teat as well!

The big brass went to help nut case in Alberta.

The result is a $100 billion debt.

But it was all the cons fault.

You have to be really special to vote NDP.

Here is your sign wear it proud.

If the NDP wins again in Alberta you will see a great change. The debt will climb to 200 billion in short order. Highways will crumble.

Companies will move to better places.

Ah, Welcome to Saskatchewan under the NDP.

Oh PS keep the ones who moved to Alberta to help Nut Case.
Did they really wreck it? You keep saying you love your province it’s been ndp for many years to get where we are.
The current government do you really think there wasn’t some thing improper with billy boy the land deals, vacant hub irrigation and now even though we had 120 oil we were broke and now have a large pst that is nailing farmers more than any other industry in the province???all those crying over the carbon tax what about the pst isn’t it hurting us farmers or not?

Well this is the difference then. Lefties are not ok with some inappropriate comments made 30 yrs ago which many people have evolved from. So be it.

Well I am not ok with the total destruction of livelihoods and letting whacko socialist Marxist communist ideologies take root. Pick your poison. The choice is a slam dunk.

I really do think the NDP wrecked Sask. With Stupid ideas of owning everything from land to oil to potash. Civil servants care about a check at the end of two weeks they really don't have a stake in making things great.

Sorry, I was one for 22 years.

To the dip shit, I didn't work for the NDP party I worked for the NDP gov as a Civil servant. So yea I kind ok know at the end of the day I go home your problem is yours till Monday.

All I know is the Sask I grew up in under the Famous NDP. It ran the province like the Mafia. Unions paid big money back to the party and got favours. The voters that were strong NDP got favours and jobs for their kids. If you were smart Sasktel Sask power, little slower Dept of highways or parks. Women got secretary jobs. Rest of the population went to tec or university and moved away. Basically, you got a suitcase for grade 12 grad.

Hopefully April 17, Highway 1 will be bumper to bumper orange electric cars trying to get from Alberta to BC. (Gonna set up a charging station 100 miles west of Edmonton) Next stop west of Vancouver is pretty wet and salty. Just saying.

Any government party in for too long is no good. It was disappointing the sask party didn’t change themselves completely. They have no new ideas only follow the whims if the oil industry. There is so much more opportunity that we need to open our minds up to. Klaus has shown many things about other countries and how they have more strategic plans we only have people that seem to plan how to better themselves first and if there is time maybe something just enough to get voted in for the rest.
Have hammered us farmers as bad or worse than the ndp. The ndp went too far with union but some of the job things they did were good for workers. Ironically much of what the private sector workers enjoy is because of unions. Since companies that don’t want unions give better deals to workers which never would have happened without unions.

It s a sad state we re in voting for people that are truly not remarkable or visionary just because of what the ndp did a ling time ago.

No matter what happens in Alberta their province will be better for the change they made to the ndp. It got rid of at least some of the crooks to the right and showed people things don’t totally fall apart in 4 years and it hasn’t in Alberta it isn’t near as bad as what some are whining about.
We re all paying too much in oil and taxes to support the oil industry yet us farmers get nothing for support. Our programs are a disaster themselves. Our ideas about seed and input costs are bizarre we re being sold that higher prices for these things are going to be good for us. Are we really that mental??

Sask3 My question was how big would the debt have been if Prentice would have won the election.
If you plant a crop and leave it to someone else to harvest and its a money looser whos fault is it yours or the harvester
I never voted nd but by your reasoning you must be some kind of special having voted liberal. I will pass the sign back for you to wear.
Where would you supose companies would drill for alta crude,at least you have some resources left to get a better deal for.
I would love to borrow your crystal ball as to future debts ,and I suppose prices also.
Mabey kenney borrowed that ball ,he seems to have all the catchfrazes but damm short on substance.
According to canada wide reports ALTA has the worst highways in canada,,mabey you protest to much.

Statoil (State Oil) in Norway made Norway into one of the richest most prosperous countries in the world with over a trillion dollars in their rainy day fund. Not bad for a bunch of nordic socialists. hahaha They are real fiscal conservatives not the give it all away ones we have here!

Back in the day, Grant Divine presided over one of the most depressing periods in Saskatchewan agriculture. Low prices, high interest rates and bad weather forced a lot of farmers out of business. Farm foreclosures were common. Lets blame Grant for ****ing up ag in the 80s! I am sure it was all his fault! hahaah
SF3 you are a comedian! You can't discuss anything without making a political statement and blaming the NDP or Liberals. It is hilarious! hahahaaah
