    Sask Budget

As expected, yesterday's federal budget was kinda boring. Spending promises that look like big deals that really don't amount to much to those impacted.

Curious on Saskatchewan's today. Moe preaching he wanted tax cuts from the federal budget which I think would be the wrong thing to do. Maybe he could rethink the expanded PST if he things tax cuts is a good idea.

Regardless, anyone want to predict the response of Trent Tablespoon?

He just said it’s not balance at home when it comes to ordinary Sask people.

Like all ndp nothing makes them happy.

Step up a new NDP replacement.

The albatross around the neck of tablespoon and the ndp of today is the LEAP manifesto and their lack of relevance. Until people are really tired and pissed off with the sask party they won’t do much. If they decoupled themselves from the federal wing and reworked the party they might become a viable alternative again.

I agree the NDP is dead in the water and wont be coming back any time soon in Sask till they redo the whole NDP thing and maybe create a new party called Socialist Credit,

Good to hear there is a balanced budget.
Hopefully it stays that way from now on and we start chipping away at the debt.

Tablespoon will likely complain that there wasn’t enough “free stuff” or perks for unemployable people.

            The tax credit for volunteer
            First responders . 3500$ .
            That put in 200 hr.s
I do not know the details .
It just sounds like it could be
            Pretty easily abused.
Does drinking beer at the fire hall count.
Or carry the phone for 17 bucks an hour.
            Maybe it is fine .
Just on the news this morning.
What qualifys and Who keeps track?

good deal , those first responders deserve whatever they get . takes a special kinda person to rush to an accident scene or a heart attack, etc.
who keeps track of your gas to see if it's farm use or personal?
who keeps track of that restaurant meal you had , was it farm buisness or personal ?
of course it will be abused by people that think that way , but the majority won't
