Wheat 2 or 3 weeks ago low wheat acres forecast, unplanted wheat acres, frost in southern plains ,drought in aust, issues in EU issues in russian black sea, market must be down 40 to 50 cents since then worrying trend.

Barleyworld barley balance sheet remains at 35year lows, high pricing has softened demand into traditional importers such as Saudi Arabia & China. Australian prices fallen off a cliff.
With adequate winter rainfall in Saudi, feed demand for barley has fallen away. Demand is now forecasted to be 1MMT lower at 7.5MMT.

So all in all wheat and barley comlex is looking a little grim but basis here in oz for wheat still strong barley not quite so bouyant

Are we entering bear market as errol suggested shit maybe 8 weeks ago cant remeber

Sorry but time for market chatter but i realize canadain politics is a talkative issue at the moment.

Did hit news here think last night slant was worlds most popular prime minister under pressure but will survivie and kept details to minimum.

If it happens to be a good year world wide downward pressure is gonna be immense. But doesnt happen according to script as you well know.

Buyer's market. Rather then watching to see if a higher price can be made it's now a case of seeing if the floorboards are rotten. A failure to take out the Feb 6 move with a half hearted attempt after Feb 12 gave an indication it was not to be. Today was a bit overdone on the move? But could very well be more weakness to come. Day by day right now. 4.93 or so ZWK to end the week would be welcome... (zero confidence)

Comments are that US didn't tender in that round. Could be reason for new round of weakness

Sask Farmers dig in their heels trying to prevent grain prices from sliding further down hill. Some can't hang on any longer and let go, making the job harder for those left "hanging on".
