Which is why Butts said that Jody should ignore the law because he didn't like it.

Mar 14, 2019 | 18:44 163 Librano corruption - Here we go again with another murky connection - messing with the ship-building contracts.

This might be why Scott Brison "retired"?

And we know that if he hadn't "retired", well then JWR would still be AG, SNC would never have happened...

Well that's what the Sockless boy said!

    Mar 14, 2019 | 23:07 164 Another scandal for Trudeau.

Oh what a shocker, large Liberal donor Irving involved. Reply With Quote
Mar 15, 2019 | 02:24 165 This is a strange one. It seems like Irving Shipbuilding doesn't like the media raising questions about potential welding issues on the new ships they built for "us".

And oh yes there's this - the last one of the six came in at double the (quoted) price of the first 5 - $800 million instead of 400.

Oh and this too - the last one was only to be built if it could be done for less - but hey, Irving had to have work for their employees so they charged double and went ahead and built it, charging enough to keep their men on the payroll after the ship was finished.

Try to figure that one out. It would be like charging double for this year's crop because next year looks like a drought.

Anyway, Postmedia asked 2 government departments about the welding issues and 1 1/2 hours later Irving calls them and says back off with reporting this or we will sue.

$60 BILLION contract. What could go wrong?

This is why SNC Lavalin might be the small potatoes for this "Just Not Ready" Trudeau Liberal party.

Seems like the Liberals don't really need a leader - they just need someone who will open the treasury doors to all their friends. And shovel out our money.

Mar 15, 2019 | 08:58 166 JWR needs only to make a simple statement and she manages to completely undo all the spin-doctoring that the sockless puppet and Butts worked to weave.

“I never asked for this,” she said. “I was just doing my job and doing that job resulted in this. I honestly can say I don’t know how we got here. I know that there is a path forward beyond the place that we’re at."

She then confirms her intention to remain in the Liberal caucus, thus creating a huge problem for the Libranos and the PMO:

"But Ms. Wilson-Raybould said she will remain the Liberal MP for Vancouver Granville, the riding she won in 2015, as long as voters want her, and that there’s a national need to address such issues as climate change, criminal justice and Indigenous policy."

Goodale said earlier that it will take an awful lot of work to patch it up between JWR and the Mincing Miracle Boy.

So, what is her view of a "path forward"? The olive branch is extended, but not very far.

  • Mar 16, 2019 | 14:04 170 Gonna have to rename this thread - "Trudeau and ethics" - to - "Librano ethics".

    AKA: "corrupt to the core"

    "...privatizing profits and nationalizing risks."

As bad as we thought it was - it's actually far worse. We could be left holding the bag for billions upon billions if the Liberals manage to make this disappear.

Would the RCMP even want to start into this, knowing the magnitude of it?

They might just think it's easier to be porters for criminal border jumpers.

I just remembered what it was they did so wrong. They were too boring. And seeing how things have turned out, I think it is safe to say that those accusations were accurate. Good thing we got rid of them, this has been much more exciting, keeps the media busy, is great for commentators and comedians, will keep lawyers and legal experts busy for years, which is great for employment. And all in all has been a very entertaining show, just too bad the price for admission was so steep, and as far as I can tell, they won't be offering refunds. Reply With Quote

Oh, I don't know, but there's this: "Justin Trudeau’s 2015 Majority Government Win Looks Increasingly Illegitimate Due To Role Of Foreign Interference"

    https://www.spencerfernando.com/2019...-interference/

However, such a situation would indicate a certain high level of corruption, and surely that wouldn't fit the federal Liberals, would it?

So it appears that the wrong country is looking into "Russian" type interference to its leadership, LOL!

Funny thing is, you can remove a bunch of words from that statement, and it is still true:

Justin Trudeau..Looks Increasingly Illegitimate Due To Role Of Foreign Interference Except the foreign interference was Cuban in this case. Reply With Quote
Mar 18, 2019 | 15:17 178 It appears that Justin isn't opposed to using his office to suppress negative press/publicity. The Buffalo Chronicle reports that:

"At Trudeau’s behest, Gould instructed Google News to limit Canadian access to foreign press"

"In the days approaching former Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould‘s testimony to the House of Commons’ Justice Committee on February 27, at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau‘s behest, Karina Gould, the Minister of Democratic Institutions, reached out to social media giant Google to pressure the firm to curtail political criticism of the Trudeau government on its platform.

Gould placed a call to a senior government relations executive at Google, during which she complained about ‘hate speech’ and ‘toxic rhetoric’, referring multiple times to specific criticisms of the Trudeau government that she found objectionable. She then threatened sweeping regulations that would require unprecedented disclosures of advertising sponsors...."

What are the chances that the RCMP won't begin an investigation? Someone suggested that none of them are interested in probing the Libranos Butts. Reply With Quote
Mar 18, 2019 | 17:09 179 Revealed to the public today, that Paul Wernick, son of Micheal Wernick, worked in the office of Francis Drouin, the Liberal MP, who moved the Finance Committee adjournment of the Emergency Proceedings regarding whether Raybould should be ask to return to Committee to provide additional testimony regarding the SNC-Lav scandal.
