Jan 6, 2019 | 10:12 1 Why don't they spend some time reporting on Canadian politics??????

Surely they could find equivalent hours of reporting on Canadian politics....

There is 15 minutes of how they will impeach Trump before they talk about the convoy to Ottawa on Wendy Mesley's show....trumps impeachment may or may not happen and we can't do shit about it....

Canadians can't change what happens in the states ....so why hours of coverage????

A simple tweet makes news.....

Meanwhile The Alberta issue is not reported or downplayed.... Reply With Quote

MSM in Canada just got paid hush money .... now they only report what they are told to.
This and the fact you can’t deny climate change, must agree carbon tax is good and absolutely agree with all Liberal policies or you could face jail time .... kinda sounds like te beginning of a new Cuba . Don’t forget universal income ...yup the Liberals are pushing for this .
So basically a controlled society like Cuba 🇨🇺. Reply With Quote
Jan 6, 2019 | 11:54 5 Bucket, its a thinly veiled propaganda tactic for the liberals. Play awful trump against compassionate Trudeau. And then they associated trump with Ford or something ridiculous. Canadian electorate are really dumbed down and smug. We like to think of ourselves as so much better than the americans. Its grotesque. Reply With Quote
SASKFARMER3's Avatar Jan 6, 2019 | 12:45 6 It’s sickening what’s going on in canada but we let it happen. The first Trudeau screwed up canada and sunk is in huge debt with nothing To really show but metric. This F$&k head will be the same and all will be I can smoke a joint at the campfire in summer. Oh joy!

The USA media for the most part do trump and trump then a feel good story etc. Fox is a good news and is popular. Reply With Quote

Jan 6, 2019 | 13:21 9 I think its a combination of institutional bias and simple laziness.

Institutional bias because every producer at CBC "knows" that all Canadians hate Trump.

Simple laziness because real reporting would require effort while simply running the CNN feed from the briefing room is cheap and easy.

Either way the sheeple of Canada are getting screwed. Reply With Quote

I guess the pro-Trump posters here on Angerville are slipping under their radar!

How's that possible! Reply With Quote

Jan 6, 2019 | 18:48 12 I quit watching the news a few years ago and found it to be a great thing. Why worry/stress/care over things of which you have no control over? I’ve got more than enough of my own problems to deal with already.

Or maybe ignorance is bliss?? Either way it’s working for me. Reply With Quote
Jan 6, 2019 | 22:12 13 But even with all the smiley face pics and rainbows and unicorns reporting he still sits @ 35%.

Have you ever seen a smiley Trump pic in Canadian press? Reply With Quote

Same thing. Not much TV and hardly any news. I have my own life problems to address first. Yes, Ignorance is bliss.
I agree that the news media industry has recently accepted federal government hush money.
My problem in all of this, is, finding an accurate and reliable news source when you want to know something about a current event. I could not tolerate Gormleys redundancy and antagonism to draw im listeners, so CBC radio has been my default station for about 20 years. I know there was always a bias but it was mostly just to stay updated. During the Gerald Stanley trial, the CBC reported on it perfectly wrong. . Reporting totally innacurate news that badly should be illegal.
That was the end of any credibility to the CBC.
The problem is finding a properly balanced media outlet.
Another thought, I have never been very politically opinionated but Trudeau has displayed so many examples of incompetence and bufoonery as a leader of Canada we must vote him out before Canada degrades to shithole status Reply With Quote

Jan 8, 2019 | 05:14 17 John gormley lover of input capital,
Hater of CBC all he talked about yesterday and I don't usually listen to him that often but it was all about trump and the wall, trump and trade, the apology, and yellow vests. Same as CBC. The CBC isn't
Perfect but sure as hell beats fox queers. They overdue the ethnic minority other minority stories because rhey don't realize those people have more laws and rights now than the rest which is causing the push back by some also causes wackos to gain political power which means they are actually doing a disservice to the minorities in the long run.

And man he's got a major love on for input. There must have been an input commercial every 5 minutes. Maybe someone ought to clue him in to what walls friends really are up to.

SASKFARMER3's Avatar Jan 8, 2019 | 08:28 20 Yea Gormley could cut the input capital helping farmers lose their farm by using all there equity and handing it over to input.

CBC is using the USA as a distraction to what’s going on and news talk needs to keep going after Trudeau and but case and yes keep the sask party honest also. Reply With Quote

One who isn't successful, blames his personal failures on big business and is so envious of his neighbor's success that he demands the government take their wealth and give it to those less fortunate, namely himself. Reply With Quote

i m more conservative than any of you blind sheep. Your the reason we have these losers to vote for. Keep repeating the Ndp so bad Ndp so bad. Well yes they were but reality is in rural sask these guys are hurting us harder.

I voted sask party based on all the things they were going to do for rural Sask. First off they were going to bring back grip remember that? Then all of a sudden oh no we can't.
Then we thought oh well ok they're building all these bypasses and stadium and irrigation projects and so we're all thinking ok well things must be good they're doing all these things meanwhile my hospital closes the roads to the hospital will kill you almost crop insurance premiums doubles they don't agree to a better agristability because they didn't want to pay anything out and we sure got it. Raised pst expanded it it everywhere And obviously lied about how bad the debt was during last election.
Got rid of fuel exemption. Raised land rents above market price. Tax on vehicles who uses most vehicles tax on fuel who uses most fuel? And you have the nerve to suggest I don't farm have you got some sort of exemption from all these improvements and I can list more that they've handed us?
Forgot we re still paying for gth wow what a brain wave that idea was. And the amount of loss is understated because they're using the sask power payment rhey get on paper to lower the actual loss amount but who pays the most sask power yes us farmers!!!!! Reply With Quote
