    Markets ....

So there is a lot of crop out yet in western Canada. A lot of the cereals left are low grade , a big portion of canola left is going to be unusable to crushers or export at 20-50% green . That’s even if half of it comes off that’s left . I know the markets still thinks total production is high and will hold that dream until May .
But also interesting is the fact that the main soybean and corn crop in the US is getting near flooded with more rain to come and near zero harvested .
For those who are done or near done and have decent quality in the bin this may be the year of fire works if you can ride er out .
We are just hoping to get at least half of what we have left out off in reasonable shape and hope it’s enough to carry us through till spring . What a sick feeling

Tend to agree with you on May being the excitement, enticing us to plant the monster to make up for Aussie frost and this shit show. Feeding the wolves and staying long is no easy feat. Having said that ill be watching for a freeze event in Kansas come March/April in the hrw belt. When shit starts going wrong, production wise, on wide scale proportion, it tends to keep rolling. Still thinking wheat is the leader and that all started in Europe so thinking drought/cold will intensify there, at least that's the trend and where wheat got its legs from. Imo this situation has legs but it takes forever to turn the boat from bearish to bullish. Trying to not look out the back door of the igloo and keep a balanced view on what's happening can be tough. But there's production issues everywhere and days of use isn't exactly flush like the 80's

Still min snow today but no harvest since late last Sunday.

Market is living in la la land.

      But it knows jack shit

We’re not done yet but the door is starting to move.

Small guys here and north 40% left we’re 45%.

Salvage will be our game plan if weekend snow hits

Doesn’t matter if you have 10 or 20 combines and a dryer can’t harvest in snow.

      Not good.

Furrow text me if you get a chance.
