    Using glyphosate this week?

Will it work better than ever,,,, or will it not work so well?

Especially if the top 4 inches of ground are bone dry?

I know it will work great at 26'C and moisture in the ground,,,, but will it work at 33-36'C with plants shutting down, and bone dry ground?

Best results are good growing conditions and an actively growing plant. Neither of which look to be this week.

We do it every year on flax, yup seems to do dick to the flax...not a green leaf on it and bolls are brown and rattle...but the stems stay green forever from the Strobi fungicide....more of a preharvest burn down of anything else in the field.

Tried something a little different with the fungicide app this year on flax....used the light rate of Headline....lets see if the stems stay green so long this fall.

Glypho is sprayed here up to 36c but depends on humidity

Most farmers do not apply enough glyphosate to do a good job. Apply 3 litres / acre and you will be happy. No more complaining.

Or use recommended rate for 37 years and guess what no problems.

All wheat sprayed 14 days before harvest or more. Peas also .

Barley ground and canola after harvest

It happens every fall. Pre harvest burn down. Some Farmers have the expectation that given enough time the glyphosate will kill whats left of the crop in order to advance maturity and speed up harvest. 20 days later “the roundup did not work that great”.
Stop being cheap, put more. If one liter per acre is good, two is better. Its weird, Guys are buying the best sprayers money can buy and then going cheap on the crop where it counts. Efficiency lost.

Nothing actively growing, in these conditions. Save it till after harvest IF it rains. Crop is DEAD, works on GREEN plants. NOT a desiccant if used according to label. Like furrow use the sickle...
