MLAs don't read bills nor Congress

Just as an example of how elected representatives don't read, or are not given time to read, bills or amendments brought to their houses for vote, you can check out some videos on you tube.

FALL OF THE REPUBLIC At the 1hr54min mark, you can see how a 300 page amendment was brought to Congress in the wee hours of the morning and Congress had NO TIME to read the amendment before it was voted on. Watch the whole video and learn how the Federal Reserve and banksters have control of our governments and our economies (good times and bad). You and your children are nothing more than collateral for government debt.

Many of these Alex Jones documentarys from INFOWARS.COM, demonstrate how Congress were forced to vote on bills that they never read. Many of these USA bills are over a thousand pages long. Our lazy MLAs here in Alberta, can't be bothered to READ bills that are less than 100 pages. What hope is there, if the grassroots people keep letting them get away with this?

very correct Kathy--neither do our MPS.

Lessons learnt with the recent SAPL---CAPLA now CAEPLA work.

    Cheers Kathy.

In all fairness to the MP's/MLA's, and I know they are held accountable. But the real big problem is the unionized civil servants that really run the country.

Shouldn't our check and balance be for the MLA's/MP's to read the bills the bureaucrats wrote to make sure the content is what the intent is?

Can't they all get together and have
someone read it to them clause by clause?
If they don't show up to the reading
          meeting, then they can't vote...

They have a committee that is supposed to review it and pass on the Cole's notes.
