Ad lib self feed cattle in feedlots

Does anyone know of anyone feeding cattle in lots on self feed with salt limitations? Is there demand out there for people that do? Is there money in it?

I know guys who use extra salt to prevent overfeeding when just starting them out, but don't know what happens if you do it long term.

Might be a good idea to talk to your local provincial beef specialist or a nutritionist.
