We have Bantams for the first time. Do they mature about the same age as standard chickens? We have them housed with the regular hens, will they use the big nest boxes or do we need to build smaller ones? Thanks!

I have bantams mixed in with some layers. They all share the same nests which are plastic milk crates with the sides cut out. Roughly a foot, square.
Bantams do mature about the same time standards do. Hope this helps.
