Need Rain!

Same story as last yr. Seeding 95% done in NE AB and needing rain badly with no chance of it in the forcast. Another week of this weather and a complete fire ban will be issued.

Same story in northern B.C. It did rain over the weekend a bit but my sheep just ran across a green field and they raised a dust trail. We are about to seed some pasture and I am torn between Orchard grass, brome, fescue and cactus)

ALLFARMER is soil moisture situation worse better or the same as last year at this time? Wat part of NE Alberta are you?

Awfully dry here in Manitoba too.Crops are existing for now but good pasture is almost non-existant.

Soil moisture is slightly better than last year. I am in the La Crete area.
