Exactly! So far, best place on earth, just too cold, but we have lots of fossil fuels and HAD lots of trees before this summer, to heat us up with!

Happy Canada Day! Fly a flag!

          A quote from Arlene Dickinson
          CEO Venture Communications, Calgary

Tonight, I sleep knowing what freedom is.
Tonight, I sleep both peacefully and in peace.
Tonight,I sleep knowing my dreams can come true.
Tonight, I sleep unafraid to speak the truth.
Today and every day I wake up grateful.

          Oh Canada . . . .

Bought a new 1970 Chevrolet, Bel Air 2 door hardtop, 350 2 barrel, 3 speed automatic for $3600 total cost.
Took a holiday through northern USA, Minneapolis, Black Hills, no speed limit in Montana, drove 100 mph all across Montana, met 1 or 2 vehicles on the road.
Can't remember US price of gas, was cheaper than at home.

I was 16 in 1972. A friends father gave 4 of us his 1969 Olds Cutlass to take out to Alberta for a summer vaca. It had a 350 rocket, 4 bbl, dual exhaust. The ultimate family car! We were all 16.

We picked up girls, scary hitchhikers, drag raced some Indians in Fort Macleod in a Dodge Dart swinger, and had lots of adventures.

Back on the farm, Dad was finally making money. The '70s saw him buy a car, tractors, a combine, and pay for it all with cash.

Why does no one report on the 'STAGGERING' price of equipment, parts, seed, chem, fuel, grain bins, vehicles, marketing etc?

Maybe the "staggering highs" are from what they're smoking.

Because the industries regulate themselves and are tied to the media as well to control the message.

It's really just reverse communism just replace Putin with whatever industry you want.

Grain industry want to make it look like farmers making money there it is. Never mind they have nothing to sell.

Want to blame farmers for bread prices rising - easy . Just never do story about the price of grain falling in half. Only mention it when grain goes up.

It's controlled media part of collusion that at one time was against the law.
