I have seen articles on t.v that horses are needing a place to stay for the farmers and ranchers going through hard times.

There is a place at Vulcan run by Paul Mitchell. He runs the Mitchell's centre of Equine Rescue. There is also a place called horse haven. I'm not sure where it is in Alberta!

Would anyone know the phone numbers for these places so I can contact them for bording horses during the winter.

Denver, horse haven is also somewhere in Southern Alberta. I haven't been able to come up with numbers for those particular places, but I did come across a couple of numbers in the paper last night that have to do with "Southern Aid".
