    Been an interesting 3 days

Forest fire by us burned 425 hectares so far. Had
7 airplanes flying over me all day cutting hay
    yesterday. 4 helecopters emptying dugouts. 6 - 8
man crews. 2 dozer groups 5 or 6 cats each. Fire
started from a skid steer building fence. So far no
homes lost. I had 4 brush piles still burning,
pushed them out and used my neighbors tanker
    to haul in water.

That would be interesting - never seen aeroplanes
    cutting hay.

The fire by me is now 1050 hectares and roughly
being held. Another fire (22 total) north of High
Level is 12000 hectares wow. Only going to get
worse mid 30's forcasted all week.

Looked up La Crete on google maps. Boy, you are a long way north. The same latitude in Manitoba would put you living with polar bears.

Good luck with the fires. We're going to be hot too, but they're not calling for a lot of wind, so maybe if your wind stays low too, they can get it contained.

            Stay safe.

Ya gov is taking APART bush row piles to slow
down fire. Once reclamation begin's they put
them all back together again. This has the
makings of another 10 million dollar fire. This fire
crew just finished a 10mill Bluehills fire 2 days
                  before this one started.
