    The Gloves Come Off!

    March 10th/12
After more than a year of informing rural Alberta about the draconian land theft bills, lawyer Keith Wilson has had it! After a year of being called a liar and a fear monger by the PC cabinet, being heckled at open meetings by the likes of Dave Hancock, and being called a “silk suited lawyer” by the Premier, Keith Wilson has come out and very clearly stated “THIS GOVERNMENT HAS GOT TO GO!”

Keith Wilson has done great service for the landowners of this province. He has pointed out again and again how the four land theft bills have violated the “rule of law” and how far this government has gone in their evil plans to end all private property rights!

    What can you do?

Forget trying to convince your current MLA……that is a waste of time……they have all sold out to the puppet masters who control the government! They need to be fired.

Now I know how it is. You might think your MLA is a pretty decent guy and he is trying, but is locked into party politics and can’t do much? Realize today, that Mr. nice guy, is stealing your property……..don’t believe him when he says “I had no option”!

    He had an option.

He could have walked across that floor……..like Heather Forsyth, like Rob Anderson, like Guy Boutillier, like Raj Sherman! Doing the right thing isn’t always easy. You lose on the pork barrel goodies. You miss your chance to feast at the biggest hog trough in the province, the cabinet table!

Alberta Landowners it’s time to stand up and defend your property! Get out and support a political party that will throw these dogs out! Order a sign, volunteer with an opposition party, donate a few dollars……….but most importantly GET OUT AND VOTE! Make sure your friends, family, and neighbors vote.

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE……WE CAN TAKE BACK OUR PROPERTY!

ASRG, I thank you for, and support you in your
efforts and agree that we must get rid of this
lot. I'm pessimistic on the outcome though. If
every landowner in the Province voted WR this
time around would it influence the result in
more than half a dozen seats? The rural,
landowner vote is such a small part of the
    electoral total.

Overall this province is in good shape -
booming economy off the back of the energy
sector influencing most of the service
    industries. Almost full employment, high
average wages. This is the reality the majority of
Albertans see. As they say in the US a president
will get re-elected if the economy is good,
regardless of political scandals or anything else.

Of course the reality here is not so rosy if you
look a little deeper. We see it first hand with our
experiences of water well problems related to
oil field activity like fracking. Once the water is
contaminated on a provincial scale it's game
over for all Albertans. To date this is a non-
issue for most Albertans because when they
switch on their taps their city water still runs
clear. This is a physical problem, there are also
the political problems extending from stealing
property owners rights to having cabinet
members drunkenly abuse citizens to the latest
Gary Mar scandal. A culture of indulgence and
    corruption is endemic.
The majority of Albertans are still unfazed.

One of the reasons why this is maybe the case
struck me the other day while driving. I was
having reception problems and could only hear
a station Charles Adler was on. Now before
anyone turns this into a right wing/left wing
thing just bite your tongue and read on. His
topic was the federal robocall scandal - he went
on braying like a donkey for a full half hour how
this was not an issue - even if the 30,000 calls
hadn't been placed it would not have affected
the Conservative majority so the issue was a
non-issue and should be swept under the
    carpet.
I take issue with his viewpoint because
    democracy is the fundamental freedom
Canadians have fought and died to preserve.
Thugs barring citizens from voting on election
day is what happens in 3rd world countries it's
not acceptable to me when it happens here.
My difference of opinion aside what really struck
me was how his entire show was staged to
divert attention from the real issue, to dumb
down political debate and that is a common
thread on both Adler and Rutherford. It's not a
right wing/left wing thing its about having a
public media that disseminates propaganda for
the ruling party in a manner worthy of the old
Pravda. I wonder how much support these radio
programs get from government either directly
    or through advertising revenue?
It's little wonder the majority of the population
are uninformed and unconcerned about what's
going on when they are constantly bombarded
and brainwashed with the party line.
How do we change it? I don't know but it will be
    a monumental task.

grassfarmer: I totally agree something is really wrong in this country when the government pulls these dirty tricks like trying to fix the election, intimidates and spies on it's own citizens. What we are seeing is the birth of a fascist/corporate state (within a global corporate fascist world!).

It isn't a good thing for the average citizen. Our water, land, and air will be sacrificed on the altar of corporate profits. Our very food will become "McFood".....GMO nightmares, chemical additives, non food fillers!
The very idea of a "farmer" as someone who has an intimate relationship with the land, replaced by a "technician".

I do believe some Albertans are waking up a bit? They are sick of seeing their healthcare system fall apart? They are sick of getting gouged by power bills? They are sick of seeing scandals about their politicians? They are sick of government arrogance?

I don't know if people have had enough or not?

A quote from a former premier (William Aberhart) sums it up best:

"If people haven't suffered enough, it's their God given right to suffer some more"!
