Anyone have a spare crank rolling around?

    Buddy of mine just bought a D9 Cat I think it's a
N, a 1980's machine anyway. He plans to use it
for scarifying cut blocks (logging) and from what I
hear have a brush piler built for it. (heck why not
they just bought 30 quarters) Anyway they
bought it from some local people who really do
put money into maintenance on their equipment.
Guess what?? Used it about 1 hour and engine
    problems.... Crankshaft yikes. What's a
crankshaft for a D9 worth? Now that's a piece of
    steel!
