Speaking of You Tube...

I decided today that I should take it to the next level and actually upload something. So here it goes... I hope it works.

This is our dog Elsa. Gate guarder deluxe. The steers aren't ours, they are the former 350 pound auction mart riff raff we bought last fall. Elsa loves to keep them in line. She does this with no commands, just her own initiative.

I have been replaced. Whooppeeee!

Standing in gates is the coldest job in the world some days.

We have a 7 month old Heeler/Collie cross who is just now starting to take an interest in the cattle when I am feeding. She has taken on the gate duties that your video shows and it sure makes barn and yard chores a lot easier. If I go into the pens or yard she's right there in the opening, head down and eyes wide open!

No escapees while she's on duty. Kinda nice.
