Round-up metabolism in resistant canola

Does cold weather reduce the ability of round-up resistant canola to metabolize the chemical ? ie. Can canola show some chemical INtolerance if sprayed after a prolonged period of cold , wet weather ? We have experienced some chlorosis and even necrosis particularly on the cotyledons this spring .

Yes I think it is possible that cold weather could affect the ability of RR canola to metabolize the chemical. However, I haven't come across any problems in the field or research reports about cold weather effects on roundup tolerance. I will keep my eyes open for this since last week we had numerous light frosts.
