Wher will all the cows go?

It is beginning to look like it could be dry in Alberta next year,again. I realize this can change in a big way. There is an old saying in Alberta "If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes!" Our pastures were used hard last year and we will be feeding late this winter. A lot of the grazing reserves and community pastures will be taking fewer cattle this year. If it is dry in 2002 a whole bunch of cows gotta go! Wher will they go? Manitoba? Saskatchewan? the packing house?

You forgot us where the consumer market is located. Could you find me 50 bred commercial heifers to be trucked on the green Québec pastures.
