CRAZY HIRING! Look at this "opportunity"

Just received an email, I believe some of you received it as well. Looks like spam BUT NO.

As we discussed 2 weeks ago and as we predicted- Kazakhstan started hiring professional Farmers. I assume next step will be our breeders and scientists?

    Check this out.

PS: does anyone know how to block the website? or at least do something with their IP address?

Can someone send them Austranada's resume please.
Edit, which sounds better Khazakstranada, or Austranadastan, or Austrazaknada?

So if Kazakhstan is also importing our wheat varieties through the back door royalty free does this mean our seed tax will need to increase substantially to offset the lost revenues to the seedcos, as we know they would never collect a dime from them. only in kanukistan can this happen

Isn't it a UN sanctioned initiative for "humanitarian" purposes?
Surely the SeedCos have a heart and won't enforce their "rights to the seed" and prosecute the effort!

Maybe that’s where we should buy our seed - tax/royalty free ? We can play the game- and win.

Well, good point. I was trying to bring the attention of our community last time to this issue.

They have a freaking "MANIFESTO" on their website https://www.tdfa.kz/manifesto?lang=en https://www.tdfa.kz/manifesto?lang=en

I've heard a story from our suppliers, which sound like " Khazak gang were robbing and stealing seed varieties"...... long story short- In maniFCKesto they've attached real emails and offers to corporations.

For me it looks like: they've tried to deal with us peacefully(offered royalties, cooperations and etc.), corporations and associations ignored them, so they've decided to do on their own and they are good at it.

They have most of our elite crops, now they are hiring some farmers, I'm sure they have enough funds to "buy" our breeders and scientists, 5-10 years and we will need to deal with them to be on market.
I don't want to sell our family farm just because of them. Yes, I'm not a farmer. My dad and sis always on the field. I'm a BA, but since we have family issues and we have to deal with treating my dad and control his medical condition. I'm not saying that I won't do farming. But in this case, I'd prefer to be a friend with them and work in cooperation.

Sounds like they have intentions of signing on to UPOV91.
