Never Ending issues more to follow suit

I see Case have suspended production at their Grand Island Harvester plant.. That's a worry.... not because its Case or harvesters, but just the shutting down of production facilities generally.......... won't be able to source stuff because critical components are unavailable. This is going to have a significant negative effect for years.....

May have been mentioned and I’ve missed it.

    The shit is getting serious

Right now they can claim business interruption insurance with the shutdown being due to COVID rather than the truth that they would have had to shut anyways due to high inventory levels of finished machines.

Loss of Revenue or Business Interruption insurance is probably carefully worded to avoid paying indemnity because of perils like Covid-19. Probably a "Wrath of God" clause.

Just being a farmer will void you from claiming any of the announced payments to workers....

Local lost their job....because the person had farm income it was denied....

The person was working off the farm to help make ends meet and get ahead a little....

        Nice hey....

Doubt any farm group will address an issue like that....

        Nor any government agency....

If you are working a job and you lose it because of corvid19....it shouldn't matter what else you do...loss of income is loss of income...

Phuck sakes even Jagmeet Singh gets it...he was on CTV saying everyone should get the same....rich or poor ...he said the rich will pay it back in taxes anyway...

Which is partly true...in one form or another...

Most of them only cover interruption due to physical damages to your facility.... fire, flood etc. My insurance broker expects the lawsuits over business interruption claims alone to go on for the next decade
