Canola taking it on the chin

Is this short term losses on futures or continual downward slide.

Heard the ChiComs have stopped their people from using canola as a cooking oil, and have now switched over to badger and racoon belly fat, for cooking.
So probably no turn-around for canola prices till those varmints have all been cleaned out of the country.
sorry, I couldn't help it. effing ChiComs.

It is noteworthy that at a time when canola is not being sold to China from Canada( and I also have some ocean front property in Sask to sell...), that canola is taking a bigger beating than soy as of today.

It has been my observation that panic selloff events such as this with more unkowns than knowns seem to overshoot and be short lived when the event turns out to have been overrated, and the unknowns become knowns. Of course one of these times, the scare will turn out to be as big or bigger than the hype, and all bets are off.
