Why can't any of this be interactive.....watch at home and type in a question that interests a producer without having to be there...

No matter the place ...its a day trip ...to listen and maybe ask a couple questions....

I realize this is my business...but I come home from these things with unanswered questions and find myself saying that was time I can't get back...

Another government funded event that is expensed down as help for for producers.....

While it seems I am complaining ...as we have tractors that can drive themselves and prescription farm...we still don't have the technology to include more producers with an interactive presentation....

I dont give a flying f about the agronomy of these crops anymore.

I only care about the trade and some sort of disaster management program that has teeth.

I’m supplying the beer. Need a good late season tax right - off after the exceptional year we’ve all had. Lol

What ...you don't want to grow more and spend more for inputs to grow these crops....for the current returns....

              Been to these meetings.

              Presentations are usually good.

But it turns into absolute information overload.

I've been able to stay to the end without my head exploding, but it's always close.

Yes true....I don't wait to ask questions because I have to ask while the thought is fresh....If I wait to ask a question something else comes up and it gets forgotten even with notes....or it gets sidetracked...

Many meetings I here the phrase....."we hadn't thought of that" or " don't know" or " can we discuss that after " all code for the people answering.... are phucking stupid....

Like asking for an interactive forum for these meetings instead of holding them all over....why not do them in Regina or Saskatoon and log in.....

It concerns me that scientists and provincial people have to travel the province for meetings but get them on the phone for info during the growing season and its pretty blank ....and they can't be bothered to see some odd field conditions...

You are a lucky guy. Root rots in my pulse crops is the BIGGEST threat to keeping pulses in my rotation.

Sounds like a plan Bigzee. Private message me and tell me what I can bring. 👍 We can’t celebrate the Grey Cup but doesn’t mean we can’t cerebrate.
