The mining oil and gas sector GDP grew by 7% in 2017 and 2.6% in 2018.

And today all Scott Moe can talk about is the hurt in the oil patch!

He said absolutely nothing about the terrible harvest or hurt that is happening right now to farmers as they go through one of worst harvests in many years. Downgraded crops, low yields and low prices will reduce farm gate revenues by 100s of millions.
What is wrong with this guy? He is so obsessed with federal politics but says dick all about agriculture in his own province which is suffering more than the oil industry. Where is the provincial help for farmers?

Until farmers can't/don't because they run out of money. Was a time land around here rented for taxes, and some landlords had to beg to get it rented.

Who will pay to feed and clothe the family, make mortgage payments, etc?

You just don't stop and start a farm business.

Don't unnecessarily open your wallet for the Ag Industry.

Income tax returns, crop insurance program, Ag Stab, AgInvest accounts, .....are all mònitored and a barometer of financial health. There might have yo be some more farm failures before government notices.

                    So now your concerned?
This past and current government is 80% to blame , yes the weather is weather as you have pointed out is a factor for sure . But according to the experts on climate change it has nothing to due with solar cycles at all. Lol
You were just on here spouting off how you’ve been through many “difficult “ harvests blah blah blah ... we suck it up buttercup...
The current liberal government has phucked all our export markets. Some of us have tried to point this out only to be ridiculed over and over again about being whiners.. now all of a sudden you come on here crying like a little bitch
Well ,Scott Moe was the only one today to come out and challenge Peter Pan about Ag and Sask in general.... I never once heard a peso out of the NDP about Ag ... maybe I missed it ???

Sad fact is you right , absolutely no one , including the illustrious NDP leader , any party or not one Ag group or industry is saying SFA about Ag ... it’s not just Moe . It’s a complete phuckin disgrace.

If we don’t plant a crop this country hurts worse than the oil industry shutting down. Problem is too many bought in to the big show so they have to plant a crop to pay the big lease payments. Keeps the tread mill rolling.

I disagree on this as a farmer he s no better than them other dinks. They *** can’t recognize the disaster at all what a loser they should have asked for trade loss and crop loss the liberals were open to the idea but they shot it down.
                            There is more to
This province than that *** oil they screw us worse than any carbon tax. The more they put out the more we pay.
