Trudeau under preasure to get NAFTA done.

    from Reuters.

Like the quotes from John Manley, former Liberal finance minister,

    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-trade-nafta/canadas-trudeau-under-growing-pressure-to-get-nafta-deal-done-idUSKCN1LY2RY https://www.reuters.com/article/us-trade-nafta/canadas-trudeau-under-growing-pressure-to-get-nafta-deal-done-idUSKCN1LY2RY

Trudeau has backed himself(Canada) into a corner, and now he has no where to move(well, without hurting himself politically).

He was going to campaign for re-election against Trump and no NAFTA deal, but Canadians are seeing through that bullshit and are realizing he's a rank amateur, and willing to risk, way too many Canadian jobs, for his virtue signaling, pet Social Justice Warrior agenda, of tranny rights, native rights, union rights, feminist rights and glowball warming doctrine.

Trudeau and Freeland both know, Trump doesn't give a **** whether Canada keeps sending 75% of it's exports to the USA or not. What they also know, is if there's no deal, Trump will tariff the shit out of Canadian built autos till the manufactures cry uncle, and move the plants and jobs back to the U.S.(or maybe Mexico)

It's all riding on the upcoming elections in the USA if democrats get in trumps reign of stupidity is over.
And a better deal is in the making. Although trump will try to salvage what ever he can now that we ve not buckled and it gets closer to elections. He knows hes fkd well ok he doesn't know anything but his people must know.
He bluffed and lost. It will now depend on how good our negotiators are at holding out to the right point not waiting too long if it turns out the republicans might win.

The Republicans will win alright, even though many are just RINOs. If it were not so you would see the US stock market sell off but right now it is on track to set new record highs, What many are incapable of grasping is when you are the only market for the worlds exports, you might as well have a tariff. The US benefits from tariiffs. Mexico does not want Canada in NAFTA 2 because it would like to see auto plant close in Canada. Auto demand will fall in the future so you have to close auto plants somewhere and just ask Mexicans, Canada would be a great place for that.

Do the Liberals really want to save the Canadian Auto industry???? In their make believe world we will all be riding bicycles to get to work and back or running electric vehicles. Sounds great ..... till it’s -30 for 4 months.

The lieberals don't care about autoworkers but to preserve seats in southern Ontario, I think they have to pretend they care. Lieberals only care about staying in power and will do whatever it takes. Lieberals also think that a significant number of non polluting electric cars can be produced as well which makes them all idiots. No bribe too big.

To sacrifice 100,000 auto jobs would be political suicide. Yet even Ford is touting this to protect dairy farmers.

The auto sector means little to the west. We have never had manufacturing so its no loss to us. But for the good of canada, this is stupid. Give the americans a percentage access to dairy like we gave the EU. Stop with the cultural and gender BS and sign the bloody thing. Trump isnt going anywhere. Even if the dems impeach him, they cant overturn legislation.

Time will tell if there's a blue wave, or if what we're hearing is just more media party leftist propaganda. Remember, Hillary was going to win the Presidency up until 8:00pm election night.

But last night Republicans won a state senate seat special election, in which Democrats have held for the last 139 consecutive years. That doesn't point to a blue wave.

If Democrats win congress back, Trudeau won't get a better trade deal, but he might get some of his SJW agenda incorporated in it,,,,if that's really a win for anyone. Better get ready to have a tranny or feminazi working on your farm cos Justin will say they should be there.

If Democrats win back both Houses, be ready for the Dow dropping 8,000-12,000 points. Better get a short position. If and when that happens, then ask yourself what grain prices will be, wheat back to $5.00 #1 13.5 ?

The loss of Ontario's auto industry, would likely mean Ontario would be a permanent have-not province, into which the west will continue to pay via transfers.

The thing to note groom Texas isn't the fact it went Republican, but the fact the status quo got the boot. It's a worldwide phenomena not just USA. People are sick and tired of "conventional" politics as there's no difference, anywhere, in the mainstream parties. We saw it in Alberta going NDP, Ford in Ontario, its about to happen in Quebec... even the racist dirty Swede's. I have no idea what'll happen in the mid terms but if the guy or gal has been there awhile, they'll get the boot.

bucket, that translate into,,,a much lower standard of living, which undoubtedly means much lower land prices.

Isn't there a saying, something like, "just when everyone thinks prices can't go lower"

That equalization nonsense is going to come to an end. Kenny will start it, Bernier will enter the fray eventually.

All kenny has to do is claim non-renewable resources under provincial jurisdiction which they are and exempt from transfers. That should trim a few billion off the transfers. Trudeau isnt going to just sabotage entire industries in trade negotiations then get free western money to prop them. Thats a revolt in the making.

Here is the Trudeau circus main representative for NAFTA seen in Washington DC....

Looks like our team is taking our multi billion trade agreement seriously. 🙈
