I really don’t get the “died of natural causes and was just called covid” perspective.

Wtf is a natural cause compared to a virus?

    Heart attack? Cancer? Diabetes?

Covid has shown to stress the body out. Could this cause blood pressure issues and heart attacks? Probably. So if someone dies of a heart attack is the argument really “Well they had heart disease already so that would have killed them so Covid doesn’t really count”

Cancer and it’s treatments can lower the immune system so is the argument it’s cancer that kills the person, not the Covid? If they were healthy Covid wouldn’t normally be an issue.

If a person has a preceding health condition that may eventually prove fatal, does that mean no matter why they die, it should be attributed to that condition? Even if they could have easily lived for days, months or years longer if they’d never contracted Covid.

Add this to the pile. Is Florida cooking the books?

Perhaps it is just an extension of the "guns don't kill people, people kill people." Does not matter to some people apparently if Covid19 hastened a death of someone with compromised health; be if age, lifestyle, weight, or underlying disease. Sort of like if you are shot, it was not the bullet that killed you, it was the blood loss that just happened to flow out the wound. Redneck logic.

Well of you want to be that technical, then all deaths are actually cardiac arrest.

Spin it anyway you want. The San Diego crew was the only ones to actually do some autopsies and post mortems and less than 10% could be attributed solely to the virus.

There are 10,000 people dead in Canada too. I don't hear you saying jack sht about how skippy is doing hiding in his closet. Our death rate is right on the same trend for a country with 10% of the US population.

Maybe WestJet should listen as well
              https://calgary.ctvnews.ca/westjet-ends-physical-distancing-on-flights-opens-up-all-seats-starting-july-1-1.5001550

How’s the social distancing gonna work there in a flying tin can ?
Sure big time differences in how rules are being applied

Bunker boy hiding while the Corona virus fire rages. Texas , Florida and Arizona are burning but Bunker boy is protecting monuments instead of ramping up testing and tracing. He will plunge the U.S. and us into a deeper recession.

                  Or memorial day weekend...

Or reopening of beaches seeing as Florida and Texas are hotspots...

Or opening Mexico boarder to TFW...

Or reopening of bars and restaraunts without limits

And especially if there is an outbreak in Tulsa and Phoenix areas in about 2-3 weeks after Trump rallies

Probably will just coincidences as well right...

Not in a Bunker hiding from his own people or sending military to gas and beat them.

In Alberta the average age of people who’s deaths are attributed to COVID-19 is 83 years old. The question that is impossible to answer is how many people with terminal or potentially terminal diseases have not had them diagnosed or treatments postponed due to the initial shutdown of hospitals to normal operations due to COVID-19. I think that prevention targeted at those most likely to become infected will yield the best results. At some point the economy must be allowed to function.

If everyone behaves the economy can re-open. Most business is functioning. Hospitality and travel are the exception , they are important but not essential.

In the provincial address on Thursday they said there are 3 under 30 age men in serious condition in Edmonton hospitals that have no underlying conditions. Of course its gonna kill more elderly, but dont be foolish to think that younger people are bullet proof.

I agree open most stuff up but there has to be some common sense involved.

Same trend? Your math is as good as your medical knowledge.
