So let me get this straight. First of all Fox News and the blind loyalists state the virus is fake they believe it’s fake we re all idiots.

Now we should believe the Chinese made this fake virus in a lab and purposefully distributed out to the world a virus they created that doesn’t harm anyone?

That’s why our governments have shut down?

This is all a left wing conspiracy to shut down the world economy yet all the prairie provinces are right winged governments? So why is our sask party doing this?

The only thing that makes sense is that our provincial government jumped on the band wagon to use Covid as the fake excuse we have a deficit that we do. As crazy as that seems it’s the most logical out of all the above stupidity.

A great display of the early signs of cognition.

        Very early.

Just curious, is this medical professional right or wrong ?
No need to go off on a tangent lol .
If truly man made , what should be the consequences?
What vaccines will even work against a Manufactured virus ... if what she claims is true?
Could care less about Fox News but what this lady claims is very disturbing if true .

People probably thought I was a conspiracy theory tin foil clad wack job for suggesting it was a lab engineered bio- weapon.

I have no idea. But got to think of all the possibilities.

What aren't the governments telling us? But gauging by the world's government's reactions you have to wonder if there wasn't more to this than meets the eye. More than an excuse to "run deficits" or what ever population control theory people liked to think.

Covid-19 could be a trial run. A precursor to a more virulent strain of a lab engineered virus. .....A Country showing the world what it is capable of...... like when the US dropped the first nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Wars aren't always fought with bullets and bombs, there is economic warfare. And who can't say this Covid thing hasn't disrupted economic activity.

            We live in interesting times.

            Pass the tin foil please.

Somehow I think it’s all a distraction to turn our attention away from the impending financial doom coming. Depression is just around the corner and they need something to blame the financial mismanagement of the last 50 years on. Baby boomers can thank themselves for changing the rules and kicking the can down the road til we ended up here. Heaven forbid they make tough decisions and lose some of their wealth for the good of our society. Gen X are gonna have a helluva time fixing all these problems.

US knows what china is doing, they just found someone like Trump who wont stand for it.

There have been dozens of cases of chinese expats trying to sneak tech out of the US, nuclear secrets, GMOs and that chick from the winnipeg lab who got the order of canada and then shipped virus samples to the homeland.

Cant attack the US directly. Have to infiltrate it first.

If some state -even a nuclear-enabled one - would want to destroy the U.S. and/or NATO, what would be the approach most likely to succeed and produce a beneficial outcome - a direct military confrontation, or a biological invasion?

Forget “the virus” for a minute. Trudeau promised Greta that he would plant 2 billion trees to fight climate change, only instead of planting 600,000 trees a day, he has not planted one. Oh maybe heplanted a rose bushat the cottage.

In many ways, Saskatchewan and North Dakota are very much alike. Their economies are similar as both the province and the state rely on agriculture and oil as two of their top industries. Their demographics and population density are also similar.

North Dakota’s population is 760,000, while Saskatchewan’s is 1,182,000, or 422,000 (55.5 per cent) more than North Dakota. North Dakota has around four people per square kilometre, while Saskatchewan has around two.

But when it comes to COVID-19, the border on the 49th parallel might as well make them worlds apart.

On Wednesday, Aug. 26, Saskatchewan had a relatively good day when it came to its daily COVID-19 report from the Ministry of Health. There had been one COVID-related death, bringing the total to 24. But there were only three new cases that day, and 30 recoveries. That high level of recoveries meant the number of active cases in Saskatchewan dropped by 31.8 per cent in one day.

Saskatchewan had seen 1,604 positive cases of COVID-19 until Aug. 26.

North Dakota, on the other hand, also reported one death on Aug. 26. According to the North Dakota Department of Health, the state had 337 new cases on Aug. 26, and its active cases statewide totalled 1,995, or 391 more than Saskatchewan had cumulatively since patient zero. To that date, North Dakota reported 10,800 total positive cases, of which there were 139 deaths.

The Canada-U.S. border remains closed to all but essential traffic until Sept. 21, a status that has been renewed month-to-month since the beginning of the crisis.

BISMARCK, N.D., REGINA—As Saskatchewan students go back to school on Sept. 8, there’s a stark contrast in the number of COVID-19 cases in this province compared to our neighbours to the south.

On Sept. 7, Saskatchewan had 58 active cases, up from its recent low of 29 cases on Sept. 2, according to the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health.

But North Dakota, whose population of 760,000 is roughly 422,000 fewer than Saskatchewan’s 1,182,000, reported 2,264 active cases of COVID-19. North Dakota has 39 times more active COVID-19 cases than Saskatchewan, for a population that is 35.7 per cent smaller.

On Sept. 7, Saskatchewan reported 11 new cases and one recovery, while North Dakota reported on Sept. 8 it had 75 new cases and 206 recoveries. On Sept. 4, North Dakota had 2,440 active cases, and all-time high, and 778 more cases than Saskatchewan has had since patient zero in this province.

The Canada-U.S. border remains closed to all but essential traffic until Sept. 21, a status that has been renewed month-to-month since the beginning of the crisis.
