Keep in mind that the mistakes and causes of the great depression have been studied as nauseam for the past 90 years, and the supposed experts think they know how to prevent it next time, namely flooding the market with liquidity. And it is difficult to argue that it has been working, at least until now. If it is a sustainable long term solution is definitely debatable, but its effectiveness is not.

My family never seems to notice I am missing until a jar needs opened, or knives sharpened, so I have been installing temperature cables, since I've been trapped by the wind blowing the ladder down too many times, have had to come down without a ladder more than once too..

We have cables in all bins and air ducts hoppers all have ladders
Just like to look in them once in the spring and make sure my math has been right
Do have 4 bins without ladders so take a tarp strap with me to hook to roof ladder, and a fully charged phone
That predicament is not unknown to me , lol

Ya been there as well , felt like a pigeon for a few hrs.
Agree on the quiet thing. Its almost eerie . But no other place I would want to be , can still snowmobile here about the only thing I hear once in a while besides the dogs howling at coyotes morning and evening.

One thing for sure , the Cabal will take full advantage of the current situation.

It has been suggested - it's time for a one-world government, just temporary, of course...

My parents made a strange comment. They said anyone who cant weather a couple month slow down shut down was probably teetering anyway, this just pushed them over the edge. Sort of the same with individuals, if you haven't socked away some emerg cash or have equity to tap, you were probably living on borrowed time anyway.

Kind of a harsh statement but has an element of truth as well.

Some of you have been predicting this for a long time.
And some of you instantly blame socialists.
What socialists? You have had liberal and conservative govt.s
And the states were Regan ,Bush ,Bush Clinton, not socialists.
Some bitch everything is made in China now, the same folks that cheered
Free Capitalism, the left were the only ones against it. and I am not saying they were completely right ,
But You can not blame them.
If you implicitly trust the top 1/2 of 1 percent to do what is best for you ,
                    This is what you get.
They own 50% of the worlds weath now .
With Trumps covid bailout , they will be close to 60% soon
Point your fingers the other way.

that is the problem with bail out the rich will get richer and the poor become slaves to that society. We do need some kind of a reset and let some companies fall the crap of buying companies for billions and wanting a bailout when it goes wrong . Give me a break! Same goes for some of those bto farmers that don't give young farmers a chance to buy or rent any farmland. But at the same time I have no idea how to fix all the problems of today . This problem was not made with corvid 19 but it sure brought it on faster.

There isnt an example of capitalism left, capitalism does not have govt picking winners and giving them the cover of the taxpayer and printing press. This govt/business or govt/banking cozy system is similar to fascism with a dose of socialism, promoted as capitalism by benefactors.

You have been betting on this washout for over a decade....

You have to have some serious cash on this downturn?
