A guy who lost his own farm isnt exactly the best choice to be articulating vision for the province.

He will be managing a downturn for the rest of this term and most of the next one.

Remember, back-in-the-day, exactly one (1) year ago, the BOC dropped their key lending rate to just 1/4%. Today, their key lending rate was hiked yet again, now 4.50%.

Central bankers aren’t known to be forward thinkers, rather market followers and reactionaries. Today, this next hike was a straw that is now bothering the camel’s back.

The BOC chair stated the bank isn’t even thinking about cutting rates . . . translation, they already are. Sweat beads already forming as Canada’s economy and consumers can now longer be pushed.

          Remember, back-in-the-day . . . .

Tiff was the choice to supply the Libs with all the cash they want for the new green economy.
            Give PMJT a free reign.

No one expected him to have any concern for the economy.

            The economy fixes itself.

What problem is there in agriculture?
Seriously, the numbers all suggest vitality. Think like a suit for a minute.

What problems haven’t been fixed in the last 20 years. Wait for a slightly above average crop and watch the system get plugged up.

                  Very few have been solved.
But heavy inventory issues and basis signals have. Wake up.

Why is there no irrigation in the palliser triangle. Would be the best place to add irrigation.

Because no farmer wants to get out their chequebook. The largest irrigation districts in Saskatchewan were taxpayer funded and after 30 years were sold to the districts a few years ago for a dollar. The asset transfer - search it on Western Producer website for more info.

Then the Saskatchewan government is continuing to fund the districts 40 dollars an acre for 5 years and pick up the deficiencies found by a government funded engineering report . The Riverhurst district is picking up close to a million dollars a year in taxpayer funding for 15000 acres.

Only 5 percent of the total acres in irrigation that the taxpayer funded are in higher value crops.

Many companies have came with government backing and then left.

Potato barns were sold for 5 cent on the dollar.

Taxpayers are picking up the major costs of the current proposed project on the west side. All the soils to find out which quarters are irrigatible is taxpayer money. If a farmer can't afford the 2500 per quarter to sled their land , there is a good chance they can't afford to buy the $200000 pivot per quarter.

Farmers over there are still blaming the NDP government after 40 years for shitcanning the west side project but in 40 years that group never got their cheque books out to complete it.

                      Do you need more clarification.

According to the Fraser Institute the Sask Party has Increased our prov.debt 90 % which is even Higher than Trudeau's increase at 83% !!!
So I think our province is Already Mortgaged to the Hilt
The gang who couldnt shoot straight is in charge and couldn't organize a 2 car parade when it comes to handling money

I dont think its time for Moe to Step up but it is time for him to Step Down

Likewise Romanow eviscerated the province after Devines spending but 35 years later we benefit from Devines spending but nothing to show from Roy. Not saying the Devine era didn’t blow money on stupid things and Roy had to clean up stuff but at a cost to future prosperity which the Sask party had to spend to get back into the 21 century. Can’t completely fault the Sask party spending as deficits in physical infrastructure were more than apparent after the NDP era. If you don’t realize this you’ve had your head up your ass for 35 years.

IF Devine would have had the Good Fortune that our current govt has had with Great Crops, Commodity Booms etc. he would have been Laughing.
As far as Romanow eviserating???? there was 1 hospital closed , the others were turned into Long term care facilities. The credit card was chopped and we didnt have to declare bankruptcy which was a good thing.
Funny how Sask Party hasnt REOpened these hospitals after 16 years???
