    So it begins

UK discussing MEAT TAX! Then the Turd and JOE who.

"Meat tax on the table in bid to cut carbon emissions

British shoppers should be hit with higher prices on meat to help the environment, according to suggestions for a tax on "high-carbon foods" drawn up for the Government. In a move that replicates the rollout of a "sugar tax" three years ago, the paper explored a levy on red meat and dairy to "help everyone eat more sustainably". Use this interactive tool to see how much natural resource is needed for your meat habit. It comes as takeaway coffee cups and disposable wooden cutlery could be the next products that come with an extra charge paid by customers under a little-noticed government legal change. Meanwhile, as two new multibillion-pound projects are given the green light as part of Britain's largest carbon capture research programme, Joe Shute examines whether could Britain soon be a world leader in cutting emissions."

That will really make a difference. Sure, it will!

"Report: China emissions exceed all developed nations combined" ...and skyrocketing...

The country is responsible for 27% of global greenhouse gas emissions, according to a new report.

"China’s carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions have grown at their fastest pace in more than a decade, increasing by 15% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2021, new analysis for Carbon Brief shows."

      Is it just me .

But every picture of China's XI Jinping he makes a face that says

" I am dealing with phucking morons internationally"

We have all sat in meetings and had that feeling. Then you try to put on a face that shows you are interested and enjoyed it with a forced grimace , knowing full well you can't get that time back.

Tax is one thing but Bank of England has been making a ton of noise regarding "programmable" digital currency. They are selling it as parents will have control of what kids can spend money on. Extend that ideology out to big brother and they can control what you can and can't buy. Food, fuel, travel, voila, the climate change policy is in place. Anyone want to barter govt quota?

For those that can't figured it out yet, the govt is using the virus to implement the green agenda. Grant Devine's caucus was angels compared to this operation.

Which is why it is so frustrating to see everyone I know distracted by arguing about masks, and vaccines, and ivermectin, while the green agenda is being pushed through unobstructed.

They have brow beaten down the population with covid for 2 yrs.

Be a cinch to bring in whatever they want now and call it saving lives.

So many strong reasonable people bought in and now cant get out.

Its one thing to start taxing meat, but what if they start rationing fuel and fertilizer and chem?

Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo testified the supply chain disruptions will continue until everyone is vaxxed. I don't know how many shares in big pharma the pols wives and children own... Hunter cough cough. But im guessing they are loaded to the gills.

Yet, so many deny what they are seeing with their own eyes! Unbelievable!

How many posters on here - even the most devote Covidians may chime in here - would have even just one year ago believed that we would be looking at increasingly diminished freedoms, even as the so-called viral threat is almost eliminated in comparison to projections and the early "case" numbers?

This announcement should ease many of your worries and keep every thing in check.

"Trump said Wednesday that he's launching Trump Media & Technology Group as a rival to the Big Tech companies that have shut him out and denied him the megaphone that was paramount to his national rise."

                            Add on.

For those of yo who missed the big opportunitiies investing in Apple, Google or Amazon, now's your chance to make big money getting invested at the ground level of a sure winner with Trump Media.

What does that have to do with the topic being discussed in this thread.
