Yup patchy fog this morning here too. Saturday we only got 0.06 of an inch. Very high humidity yesterday morning and the it stayed high into early afternoon, tried harvesting flax mid afternoon...no go.

There are "chances" of rain on and off all week. September, as it can be. There will be opportunities to harvest but how long they last is the key question.

Edmonton forecast is painful. Similar to last week but 8 degrees cooler. We did roll for a couple of days though.

We are down to 100 acres of standing Cnaola and about the same swathed. We much closer to the light.

If it’s gonna be shitty wish it would actually rain an amount that matters then get the hell outta here.

Yep, still drought here - can't get a rain yet can't get greenfeed dry enough to bale 25 miles away because of humidity. Going to have to wrap it now.

A little frustrating here too. This week is a write off for any fieldwork just like the past week. I guess moving cows won’t cut into it at least but going to need insulated coveralls and a rain coat possibly to run the quad. Summer was nice but bring on the toque now. ☃️

                    Currently drizzling here

OMG, hopefully that won’t materialize. Here it is dry as a fart. Canola testing 9.6. Course we haven’t seen rain since June 6.

Shit it turned from wicked heat/drought/wildfires to WINTER instantly! Hope the forecast is totally off like all the rain that was supposed to happen and dissipated before our eyes...losers, but still paid their wages. Yup Climate Change...Global Cooling!

Rain on Saturday then clouds for Sunday and most of today and now back to rain tonight and the rest of the week looks much the same.

Finished seeding early this year and sure hoped for a early harvest but that's not going to happen now.

Definite climate change. I have paid much attention to his phenomenon for 26 years.
Summer changes to fall. Fall changes to winter. Winter changes to Spring. Spring changes to summer.
Plenty of ill timed temperature, wind and precipitation variations within the above identified seasons. I suggest a person does not try to make a living within these elements.
