Sask is basically cut in half
West is same or worse than Alberta , east is for the most part in great shape . At least they will get a crop , even if they have a few flooded acres.
10 to 20% flooded acres is still 100 💯 times better than seeding corner to corner with barely enough moisture to get the crop growing .
It’s ok here now but we only have 1/4 tank of fuel to start . Areas between here and Stoon and south have less than that . Not a Rosie picture when commodities are dropping like a stone and little backing from the past few years .
If you’re wet , consider yourselves extremely fortunate at this point . At least you will get a crop with what you seed . Zero guarantee of that at this point in western Sask .

How the mighty have fallen… oil down to $68/b

Apparently there are rumours that Ukraine drones almost made it to the Kremlin…. Which caused wheat to rally…

                Can carry 200 lbs and spray 40 acres…(per hour)…

                That can’t be cheap…

                15’ wide…. 6’ blades on motors…

You can just bet some BTO will fill 10 of those thing in his yard and then fly it out miles away over everyone elses field.

Wait until one goes down in the neighbors crop. It will be shooting time and lawsuit time.

Lol. That’s funny. Drone spraying is the future if a couple or 3 can meet or beat a ground rig for acres per day and come in at less cost. $120000 per drone and 200lbs product isn’t quite there yet. Can see a cocky BTO stuffing it up in grande scale if they have the chance

The bigger ag spray operators are giving them a close look as it gets rid of a lot of liability hiring pilots.
A kid with video game experience replaces 1000 hrs experienced pilots.
Definitely need to understand and adapt to off target issues.

The Dustup days are long gone if you want to be successful in that buisness.

Spray planes are very soon obsolete imo, will take 5 years or so before ground rigs are as well.

canola progression pic or canola bean mix

Open canola so seed can be retained 1.8kg per ha seed rate 50kg dap/soa mix 70/30% mix

Will get a spray to knock out beans soon lontrel.

I kid you not free seed 200kg good initiative from breeders they get the $$ back in end point royalties.

Some guys got smart and got 200kg of each variety bred wasnt aware that was allowable so some got 600 kg of seed.

Anyway messy canadains would plough it in or graze with cattle but i farm in inside or the good side of "goyders line" by about 60kms a bit like your palliser triangle. Coastal showers save me in droughts 85 kms away as crow flies. If weather comes from correct direction were pick up nocturnal showers
