Premier condemns protest outside Saskatchewan chief medical officer's home

Is the headline....He goes on to say people should take the ""issues up with him or a local legislator rather than going after a "dedicated public servant and his family.""

While I agree with Moe...here is some advice.....

Maybe Moe should tell his team to be available to talk to constituents ....

Now, Moe says he has a message for those who are taking aim at Shahab.

"This harassment of Dr. Shahab and his family at their home is simply unacceptable, sickening and wrong," he said. "To those that did this — you should be ashamed of yourselves and your actions."

Its the anti mask, anti science, anti lockdown, self centered covid deniers at work. Most of them don't have a clue!

Most don’t deny COVID they deny the hypocrisy. Christ man spoken like a true NDPer telling us to go to work so they can have a life.

Maybe we can ask the good doctor about his Hippocratic Oath; Do No Harm

They sure like to lean on that if you want to access life saving treatments but hey killing an entire economy and increasing suicide, drug abuse, child abuse, divorce and mental anguish, no problem.

            Tunnel vision.

            Without the vision.

I think we need some laws to protect people around their homes and jobs. Intimidation and harassment should not be allowed and should be a serious crime. Whether it is Paul Mccallum, staff that run the Coop upgrader during a strike, or Dr Shahab these people deserve the feeling of safety and security wherever they are. As farmers we hear of farms being picketed and invaded by social justice groups as well and that is wrong. Times are changing and the laws need to keep up with the times.

Why does being anti-mask and anti-lockdown also make you anti-science? Neither are supported by ‘the science’. (Re: Chuckles)

Just a follow up. farmers are not elected officials. We do not set policy or ruin other peoples lives with half baked directives that make no sense and then violate them a day later.

What input does the average person have to our govt? A vote every 4 yrs and then we are expected to shut up? Our media wont ask the tough questions and our opposition is on the same side at least on this issue or they are silenced and shamed if they ask questions.

Its understandable people are frustrated. If that was a climate protest or BLM matters protest in front of the minsters house it would be celebrated.

Shabab and Moe are making a big deal over a few (from the news) people mulling around on the street in front of some residential property that apparently is Shahab’s house. People are frustrated, many businesses will never reopen, people have been out of work since March, the majority of families do not have savings to bankroll years of no income. Politicians and bureaucrats are getting paid every day, in many cases to stay home, but many service industry workers do not get called to work and can’t maintain their families....but no one is listening to them. People want to be heard.

CBC says Garneau won’t rule out using Emergencies Act to stop foreign travel over spring break. So if you want to get out of Dodge, better hustle.

Just make your return flight into NY state and you can immigrate into Canada via Roxham Road and get a free hotel too.

There are already laws against intimidation and harassment. Maybe there should be some laws to protect the people from misguided politicians. Oh wait there probably are laws for that already too!! We know how that will end with a resignation and $150000 every year for life.

While I understand and accept the right of people to disagree in a free society, the idea that protesting in front of somebody's house is plain wrong. Those that say the other side did it first (BLM) doesn't make it right. Intimidation isn't the answer.

Regardless on which side of the covid fence you stand.
1 yr later and where are we at?
