Hey I should add when gun laws came in think 95 o 96 after “pot Arthur massacre” it was conservative govt that bought the change and both sides of govt agreed think it was done and dusted in about 3 months new laws and buy backs.

Ps I understand your vermin are a bit more savage than ours.

And just cause gun laws work here don’t mean it will there not a one size fits all.

Wouldn’t know population % of gun owners in oz but suggest less than 5% and probably half that since laws changed so we don’t really have a gun culture

The only guys that miss sei auto weapons are wild pig shooters.

Yeah get a antsy old boar head down bum up nostrils flaring foaming at the mouth and you’ve got 20 seconds to fill him with lead they long for there semi autos. Hunt in threes is solution

We live beside the biggest stockpile of weapons in the world and a whole lot of vacant border land and sleepy border crossings.

There is gonna be some big bucks made in cities smuggling handguns. Buy a vacation home with one case of handguns in a transport truck.

Our loving Liberals did GUN REGIGISTRY in the 90's, only cost us $2 BILLION, accomplished BIG FAT ZERO. Make work project for their friends down east. What did it cost in Australia?
Even if we HAD the registry prior to the murder of 14 women, it would not have stopped him at all.

Just print em with a 3D printer. Pretty easy to get the blue prints once you dip into the darkweb through Tor. Smuggling is illegal.

                  Think about it.

The liberals are the stupidest group on earth.

3D printing guns is also illegal in this country, if your looking for the moral high ground.

                      $60M?????
That's less than half what's been discussed for compensatory value on AR receiver rifles alone. Closer to $150M or more. That's if they want to fairly compensate. Remember, they know exactly how many are out there. They're purposely low balling.

Now all the other "military style", whatever that means. Possible to add up to a x10 factor on those estimates.
Now let's add all legally owned handguns.

This is what I've been trying to say since the begining. Smoke and mirrors to buy votes.
The taxpayer spent over $2B just to register the long arms. All in the toilet by the way.
Geez, add in all the govt man hours to pay for.
How many issues have a greater need for those billions????
They're lying to you. Wake up.

Anyone who supports this should have a psychiatric assessment done. Honestly what criminal will give their guns back. If its a raid on a gang they will hand them over to the youngest person in the room and the leaders of the gang will get off. Liberals are insane they show this more and more every day.

I’m afraid Moe and Kenny are just little men with little balls. No vision and no guts to get at it. They are probably out Christmas shopping with their wives today rather than rolling up their sleeves and hatching a plan.

I said that the cities would put F-Head back in and I was hoping I was wrong....but the rag heads, pakies, the spooks and the specs and bleeding heart city folk never fail and ensured the victory.

I asked if you bastards were ready to separate...no we just sit and whine like casterated dogs. All bark and no bite.

At least make the threat people, make some plans, have some meetings, get some meat on the bone of what a separated West would look like.... and make them at the least think we are leaving.

At the very minimum, have a conversation with the US about joint trade deals and an economic alliance. Wow can you imagine the news that would get here in Canada and around the World. Trump would love it. JT’s crew hate it.

Let Trump muse about doing a deal with Western CANADA....let the world know the JT has a big problem in Western Canada....embarrass him on the World stage.

It would get people here off their lazy Western Ass and start to have a serious conversation with each other about making the West move and get a dominant position it should have in the World.

Other than that people of the West....crawl back into your cave, shut up and take what you are given.

This is a regional issue mostly aimed at GTA and south Vancouver.

Maybe the PM can be told about their 2011 election campaign where they featured this and ended up as third party with 34 seats!

Maybe using this to deflect from economic issues they seem to have no clue how to handle.

More "virtue signaling" as that has got them where they are.

This sounds like a good idea. Trudeau and Butts are all about virtue signalling and image. The economic engine of Canada signing a trade deal with the USA would crush their fragile egos.

Maybe Trudeau should have a talk with his little buddy Macron and see what social engineering can lead to. Neither of these buffoons should be laughing.

Macron returned to massive yellow vest protests that have been going on for a year now.

France is paralyzed by worst nationwide strike for decades, with schools shutting and public transport grinding to a halt, as furious public sector workers protest pension reforms

Half a million protesters marched in several cities on Thursday in the largest nationwide strikes in decades
Disruption comes days after President Macron appeared to be caught mocking Trump at NATO conference
Some 65 people arrested in Paris as hooded youths lit fires, looted stores and hurled fireworks at officers
Around 90 per cent of high-speed TGV trains were cancelled and 30 per cent of flights were grounded
Police in Paris barricaded the presidential palace and deployed 6,000 officers to deal with demonstrators
