what is "rain"? had a couple 1 and 2 tenth showers here since mid june, and thats it.

Latest weather runs have progressively backed out total precip out of this next system from .75 10 days ago, to .2 or less now.

Looks like we're heading into winter DRY!

The bright side is that it reduces the need for $1100 urea. I think the fertilizer industry really got ahead of itself cranking the prices like there is no tomorrow this fall. Sheds full of over priced urea and no demand for it. Happened before and took dealers down.

Are the dealers sheds full with high priced urea? I think they were more cautious this year.

smart guy partners , thats the best place to store it , bar none!
we managed to get a third of farm juiced
                      and some fines floated
local indépendant was pumping nurse tanks out so we could finish a quarter!
the entire system is empty , ZERO!!!

Prairie North at Archerwill loaded out well over 1000 T of Urea so far. Much went to bins.

If the current situation doesn't change in a big way I'll be bare-balling it... possibly a little bit of starter, and that's it!

There is absolutely NOTHING in reserve here, and this place does not, as a rule, get timely rains.

Same here, 3” all year since May. Ground is completely dry. Won’t be making any final decisions until May next year.

Apparently it takes an inch of rain per bushel around here

We had about 4.5 in since the snow left.
                                West of Tobin Lake.
Some who won the shower lottery got enough for some close to normal fields.
Still green around but has to be due to a little bit we have got the last few weeks.
Friend trenching said dry 10 ft down.
Won't fill that back before new crop.
Need about 15 in to fill that back up?
