Visual dont always translate to yield or profit, snake oil claim to fame. Liquid phos is no doubt great but is the money there at the end.

Wonder if the alpine was seeded deeper? The length from seed to green is much longer than the 11-52 plants.

When the "Bigger Root Mass" story comes out my eyes glaze over.

If I had a dollar for every time I saw that pic in the last 40 yrs....

Look at the length of the colioptile on the weak looking plants.
              Don't seed deeper than necessary.

Not sure on details , just that it’s from a farm at around Plenty .
They did Alpine first year this year on half their acres .
And yes Maver visual does not always translate into yield . But Alpine very consistently does.

One thing to keep in mind is the very low salt index of Alpine , can make a huge difference in dry soils to crop emergence

Are talking barley, cows or closing time at the bar?

Its fun to sidetrack a thread occasionally.

There are plenty of them now a days caring a lot of baggage up there, who should be wearing Franks' mansier
