Just burn coal, if the the electricity is used far away from the generating station half of the electricity is lost during transmission.

What insanity. If someone is concerned about smoke and combustion gases… when cooking…

most Intelegent cooks turn on the ventilator fan in the overhead hood over the cooking range… to exhaust the smoke /exhaust…outside….

        Blessings and Salutations

To be honest, I wouldn’t have a gas stove because the heat comes up around the outside of the pot and makes handles burning hot, Can’t leave a spoon in the pot either and just time one of those burners when wanting to boil a big pot of water. Won’t break my heart, turfing them.

Commercial kitchens, fast food with grills and friers, anywhere producing high volumes or factory production?
Be like the steel mills. Government will fund the changeover.
                  Funding is not money.
They print it out of thin air. No problem.

                    Change is hard!

Took a awhile for some people to admit smoking was dangerous or that seat belts save lives too.

Its a question of indoor air quality.

Do you run your engines in the shop without an exhaust line or fan for very long? Most people at least open the door.

We have a gas cook top. Nice to have gas when the power goes out.

Electric induction stove tops are another option that probably make more sense. They are more efficient and safer.

We switched to induction 8 years ago. We would not go back to electric , safer and faster.

2 shops , house , total for dec,(cold cold month), $568. total tax paid of that = $155.55(27.5% of bill)
, of that $7 was GST on carbon tax , what kind of idiot would ever come up with GST on a carbon tax ??????????. what kind of special idiots (us) would pay it
