    Sask ag crops extension specialist

Watching the National and they had a quick news article about the current drought. ....the cattleman knows its bad....the canola grower knows it's bad....

The extension guy says it just needs a rain. ...while true ....the reality is its past a helping rain for most....

It would be nice not to sugar coat things....and tell the public the truth....

The public can't handle the truth.

its been an interesting few days dealing with Social workers for mom and therapists etc.

Then the Flea Beatles hit and wow that is a shit show. Today I have to stop spraying because why would a company believe a farmer like WTF do they know. I have to drive a putz around and show him I don't seed Canola on Canola and sign a release from the company for one app of chemical.

The big thing is to sign a release form cancelling the company of any wrongdoing by there company. For F#$K sakes the cost I pay them.

It's sad every one doesn't care about Farmers they just want to protect their own ass and Keep F#$King us till we're gone.

I started the crop report because the Sask one done by Terry was such a feel-good exciting crop report in the 80s etc. and Frost years oh it's just a little surface frost. Yea it wiped out millions of acres.

No one gives a shit. should be the slogan instead of Ag more than ever.

    ITs a joke.

Oh got a quote on a nice used drill that's been sitting for two years on the dealer's lot and buying new. For #$ks sakes the new is cheaper and get this only Half a million difference plus your drill.

I said I'll buy it from RB when the dealer puts it this fall and haul my old one to Ipsco at least ill get paid by the pound instead of taking it in the ass and giving it away.

Minus 2 overnight, still frost on the barn roof. Three previous days were 2 zeros and a plus 1. Some canola was toasted already last night likely got the few stragglers remaining. Holding out hope for wheat and peas now.

The extension guy has been at his desk for too long, eating too many Twinkies.
