"Canada has a far better political system and democracy"
Repeating that over and over doesn't make it true.
Canada ranks 24th with the US 36th. Agree or disagree with their metrics. Slipping lately .
Losing by less still isn't winning.

Canada has once again received top scores on the Economist Intelligence Unit’s (EIU) annual Democracy Index, ranking 9th in 2025 and rising sharply from 14th in the previous year.
First published in 2006, the EIU’s index sets out to measure the state of democracy in nearly 200 countries using 60 different indicators across five categories, including: electoral process and pluralism, functioning of government, political participation, political culture, and civil liberties.
After a few years of modest ranking drops, Canada posted a strong rebound in the 2025 index, improving its score to 9.08 out of a perfect 10. Global democracy stabilized in 2025 after eight years of decline, with the global average score edging up from 5.17 to 5.19. But despite this slight improvement, full democracies remain rare, and democratic performance continues to vary significantly across regions.

Canada is a far better democracy than the US!

                In the
Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Democracy Index the United States holds a score of 7.65 out of 10. It is categorized as a "flawed democracy" and ranks 34th globally.

Chuck, be careful when you cut and paste from the Canada Action website.
You might get brainwashed there. It's the dark side for you with funding from Canadian Resource companies and workers from Alberta mostly.
                    The evil ones.

The #14 score was the lowest Canada has ever ranked. Near the end of JT when his own party shitcanned him.

"During the Harper administration, Canada’s democratic score remained incredibly flat and predictable. The EIU consistently praised Canada’s institutional stability, independent judiciary, and flawless electoral processes. However, scores were kept back from entering the elite top-5 due to historically lower voter turnout and lower public interest in political party participation during this decade."

So if people are unconcerned about political happenings you loose points?

Yet to be determined how we will rate when people figure out we are being run by a small group of Globalists using us as an experiment in WEF/Davos policy?

Its from the the Economist Intelligence Unit’s (EIU) annual Democracy Index.

Now I know you don't like the party in power but that doesn't change the result. We still have a far better democracy that Rump land!
