I do realize that Chuck. I was giving a simple example for argument sake. DeHavilland is spending big in Calgary area. Ironic a lot of the manufacturing out west is ag mining and oil related. Spin off industries. Even a lot of service industries rely on ag mining and energy.
Took a trip stateside a couple summers ago before asshole got elected and couldn’t get over the stark difference between the irrigated southern Alberta, Montana, and Idaho. Southern Alberta created synergies and spin offs from that water. Montana nothing near that. Idaho a lot more like southern Alberta. Point is, you make the best use of what you have through the synergies of value adding. Can argue oil, gas, minerals need a lot more of that too.
