I know there's been plenty of love throw Premier Smith's way from several Agriviller's, with equally amount of resentment towards CPC MP's crossing the floor over to Carney's Liberals.

Based on the NP article the CPC floor crossers must have read Danielle Smith instruction manual on how easy and self-serving it is.

Once elected to one party by the voters, that's where you stay till next election or you resign for re-election, my thoughts.

I am not sure why you find my reading of CBC articles so offensive. The reason I use CBC articles in response to your posts is I attempt to judge from what people say where their political beliefs lie. You generally go after the right of centre posters. Therefore I use left of centre news organizations like the CBC to respond to your posts as I expect you will find that more acceptable. If I respond to Chuck2 using an article from the Fraser Institute he immediately discounts it just like if he uses an article from the Pembina Institute I immediately discount it.

Quebec has a distinct culture and language. Alberta not really. And Quebec has a history of being poorer than their Canadian cousins due to domination by english Canada.

Alberta is better off and not really distinct. Political differences yes but that doesn't count.

There is little support for separation in either province when they see the ramifications.

Interesting to note that in 2005 the Federal NDP adopted its Quebec policy known as the Sherbrooke declaration. It recognizes Quebec’s “right to self-determination which implies the right of the people of Quebec to decide freely it’s own political and constitutional future.” It also states that the NDP would recognize a majority decision(50 percent plus 1) in the event of a Quebec referendum, in a clear contradiction of the clarity act. Everyone bends over for Quebec and it’s separatist aspirations and attacks Alberta for doing the same.
