As I said before we should be supporting and subsidizing small and medium sized farms who need it so they can survive.

Instead we give a lot of support and advantages to the Monettes so they can drive up the costs and price of land for everyone else?

Cyclical industries have casualties, look at oil industry. A turn-around in grain prices precipitated by drought and other externalities could change everything. But once the banks are burnt by a few BTO’s, the banks could pour cold water on the big players, maybe small guys too.

Banks tend to broad brush things. Wouldn't doubt there is a tightening of credit.

Yeah there was too much easy credit given to farmers and homeowners while interest rates were low.

It was a major reason why land and housing prices have soared beyond reasonable.

          Its time for a correction.

Thanks to tRump that downturn is gaining momentum.

The oil companies are raking in massive profits in the biggest transfer of wealth from consumers to the petro elites.

The price rise makes the carbon tax, returned to most consumers, look super cheap, yet the Conservatives never have a negative thing to say about the massive transfer of wealth to the oil companies which will kill economic growth?

Now they whine on about the industrial carbon tax and clean fuel standards and completely ignore the windfall profits from the oil industry!

They are working for the oil companies that's why! Just like tRump and the Republicans.

The correction is coming. High inflation and high interest rates will be normal in 6 months. If there is a large bump in interest rates all those big loans will crush a lot of big operators.

The bloom isn’t off the rose around here. Land auction yesterday, 1 bare quarter. No services, 1 cbm well. 150 acres of hay. Decent dirt. $1.11 million.
