Germany blew the bank on renewables but it certainly didn't benefit them.
Large parts or their industrial production shut down or moved to China or the US.

Campare Germany with China for total energy production since yr 2000 and you easily see why China is getting all the industry and investment.

Drill baby drill and stupidity won't replace mid east oil. Every country who can is thinking how do we reduce our imports of fossil energy.
