Giving up so easily BP? LOL

Canada: Non partisan and an independent Elections Canada plus a cap on individual and corporate political donations.

USA: Unlimited donations and Republican partisans gerrymandering electoral districts to political advantage along with campaigns to de-register and suppress certain types of voters.

The result is billionaires are running the country!

Where is your evidence that I am wrong about campaign finance and gerymandering in US elections?

If you want to win a debate you actually have to provide some evidence.

          Here is mine....

In 2020, nearly $14 billion was spent on federal election campaigns in the United States — "making it the most expensive campaign in U.S. history","more than double" what was spent in the 2016 election. Critics assert that following a number of Supreme Court decisions — Citizens United v. FEC in particular—the "very wealthy" are now allowed to spend unlimited amounts on campaigns (through Political Action Committees , especially "Super PACs and to prevent voters from knowing who is trying to influence them that masks the donor's identity). Consequently, as of at least 2022, critics (such as the Brennan Center for Justice allege "big money dominates U.S. political campaigns to a degree not seen in decades" and is "drowning out the voices of ordinary Americans."

In the lead-up to the 2010 United States elections (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_United_States_elections), the Republican Party initiated a program called REDMAP (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/REDMAP), the Redistricting Majority Project, which recognized that the party in control of state legislatures would have the ability to set their congressional and legislative district maps based on the pending 2010 United States census (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_United_States_census) to assure that party's control over the next ten years.

The Republicans took significant gains from the 2010 elections across several states, and by 2011 and 2012, some of the new district maps showed Republican advantage through perceived partisan gerrymandering. This set the stage for several legal challenges from voters and groups in the court system, including several heard at the Supreme Court level. In 2018, Wisconsin's maps resulted in Democrats winning all statewide offices and the popular vote, but netting only 36 of 99 seats in the state assembly.
