    Have to agree mostly.
Stratigic trade deal has yet to play out?
Seems we got back close to what we had for ag?
China got their EV exporting back to where it was before the 100% tariff?
    Win for China?
Murab from AGT foods says the best to come out of it was Carney went to negotiate and came away with some wins.
We weren't even on China's radar for yrs and no one talked.

IMHO, it's a start but China got what they wanted when they put the tariffs on.
    Works for them.

They need our oil now because VZ and Iran were major suppliers.
China takes 70% of Iran's oil at a discount due to embargo.
Trump says they will pay 25% extra if that continues.
Now we are the cheapest alternative.

But did we teach Trump a lesson?
Yet to be seen what the lesson is on that one?

Not alienating U.S. , just MAGA.

“That’s what he should be doing. It’s a good thing for him to sign a trade deal. If you can get a deal with China, you should do that,” Trump said.

Tsipper and Crop want to bend over for tRump and join the MAGA republicans attack on Canada!

Save us from the betrayal and will you just move to Rump land!

              Deja Vu?

Trump said he was the best choice for PM and someone he thought he could deal with?

We didn’t have good experience selling grain into China. We had to abort mission. There were a few ,”abort mission countries” but the US sure wasn’t one of them. I’ll just say it wouldn’t be on our, “ good to deal with’ list. Just saying from first-hand experience. Go Chinada aliance”.

I have a neighbor with international sales experience. We are rather sheltered here. We don't live it so can't envision it. Certain behaviors considered criminal here, not so elsewhere.
                  We are dependent on export.
But we like to keep our guard down too it seems.

Why did China agree to the deal if they didnt get anything?

They got access to building and selling EVs in North America.

Trump can't afford to have little trade with China.

Stock markets are already reacting to the proposed tarrifs on the EU over Greenland.
