I am surprised PP didn't mention bringing back single use plastics in his campaign speech in Calgary!

PP and the some of the conservative fringe certainly support more garbage!

They don't even realize to be conservative means to conserve.

"The root of "conservative" lies in the shared Latin verb conservare, meaning to keep, preserve, or save, aligning with a tradition of stewardship, land preservation, and intergenerational responsibility.

Asked a guy about recent hot weather have to go back to 44/45 he said nope a trained met with access to better data. His reply

I had a look at the gridded temperature data (which should largely remove the effects of changes in network density) averaged over a box from 28-36S, 138-148E (this takes in most of inland NSW, northwest Victoria and eastern SA). For this area, the 2026 heatwave was virtually identical to 1939 on most measures (e.g. hottest day 0.08 hotter, 7-day average 0.06 cooler, 1939 had more consecutive 45+ days but 2026 had more consecutive 44+ days).

Proves zero just interesting info doesnt mean warmer doesnt mean cooler just a stat.
