I have said before, I am for immigration.
There are lots of good people in every race and religion.
But certainly not all.
immigration is a chance to make our country better or worse.

What has been happening around the world since covid in many G20 countries is a disaster that the rulling parties seem to be very reluctant to change.
Probably many reasons for that, but one is, it is a sure way to grow the GDP when they were destroying the economy with their climate and social programs.

I know an American who applied for Australian citizenship. After about the fourth time of asking him about his criminal record, he finally stated, I didn't know that was still a prerequisite. Evidently the immigration officers don't have a very good sense of humor about that.

End of the day , the problem is not with responsible immigration , it was the disaster of a wide open mass immigration into all Western European and North America the past decade with far leftist governance that don’t understand economic balance.
Immigration is constantly needed into aging society’s , that’s a fact but when it floods the domestic capacity it becomes a major problem to all social programs necessary for a functioning society.
When Nations are already struggling with housing, education and most importantly health care it’s literally suicidal to open the borders .
